Parents Plus Programmes in partnership with Parentline.

The courses are practical, positive and evidence-based, with proven benefits for the families who attend. The courses are suitable for all kinds of families including those dealing with the normal ups and downs of parenting and those dealing with specific challenges.

We kindly invite Parents to contribute what they can toward course costs. We operate a flexible sliding scale (€150, €120, €90, €60, or €30), with a €0 option fully supported for anyone who needs it. 
All payments go directly back into the project to finance further courses.

 

  • The courses are delivered online via Zoom by a professionally qualified facilitator over six to eight 2 or 2.5 hour weekly sessions (depending on which programme) to a group of about 12 – 15 parents.

  • All sessions are interactive, with plenty of time to address individual goals and concerns.

  • Two weeks prior to starting the course, the facilitator contacts each parent to discuss their goals and to ensure the course meets their needs.

  • You will also receive the accompanying course parent book by post.

  • We will be asking parents to anonymously participate in a simple evaluate so we can track the impact of the courses and what type of support parents need. We will give you more details when you sign up.

The programmes are open to parents in the Republic of Ireland only. Bookings will close two weeks before each course starts. It is recommended that you only attend one course at a time.
